About Us
Life’s most difficult seasons can isolate, overwhelm, and silence women at the very moment they most need to be seen, heard, and supported. SHE & Co. exists to change that.Through intentional mentorship, faith-rooted encouragement, practical resources, prayer, and meaningful human connection, SHE & Co. helps women rediscover their strength, gain clarity in uncertain moments, and rebuild confidence. We meet women where they are, without shame, pressure, labels, or expectations.
Women need other women who will show up. During loss, change, crisis, healing, and rebuilding, having someone who listens, understands, and stays close can make all the difference.
SHE & Co. is creating a community where women can speak honestly, share their stories without fear of judgment, learn from one another, pray together, and find strength in real relationships.
At SHE & Co., sisterhood means showing up for one another when it matters most.

Our Vision
Our vision is to grow SHE & Co. into a trusted network of women supporting women through mentorship, outreach, wellness resources, community partnerships, prayer, and meaningful connection.
SHE & Co. is U.S.-based and rooted first in the New Jersey Tristate area, with online resources and community access open to women regardless of where they live. Over time, Cynthia’s vision includes brick-and-mortar support in the New Jersey Tristate area and broader national or worldwide reach.
We envision women who are no longer only surviving, but thriving — women who stand firm, lift one another up, give back, and become a force for good in their families, communities, and the world.
Our Core Commitments
ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Founder of The Hughes Foundation and SHE & Co.

Cynthia Hughes is the founder of The Hughes Foundation and SHE & Co., a faith-rooted support initiative being created to help women find encouragement, mentorship, practical resources, and meaningful community during life’s most difficult seasons.
The vision for SHE & Co. grew from Cynthia’s own experiences navigating hardship and searching for support without feeling judged, dismissed, or pressured. She understands how isolating life can become when a woman is facing crisis, transition, grief, illness, family challenges, or uncertainty and does not know where she can safely turn.
Those experiences inspired Cynthia to build the kind of community she once needed herself: a place where women can be heard, cared for, and supported without shame.
Her vision is simple but deeply personal: no woman should have to face one of life’s hardest moments believing she is alone or that asking for help will expose her to judgment.
SHE & Co. is being developed as a welcoming community for women from every walk of life, regardless of race, religious background, political beliefs, personal history, or present circumstances. Its purpose is not to judge women, impose beliefs, or push a political agenda. Its purpose is to ensure that women have access to trusted relationships, compassionate guidance, practical assistance, educational resources, and genuine friendship.
Guided by Christian principles of faith, service, dignity, compassion, and respect for life, Cynthia believes that women do not have to share the organization’s beliefs to be treated with the love and care those beliefs require.
Through mentorship, local and online SHE Circles, workshops, professional referrals, practical support, and community partnerships, Cynthia’s goal is to create an enduring network of women helping women.
Our Mission
SHE & Co. exists to support, mentor, and empower women through faith-rooted community, practical resources, prayer, and meaningful connection — ensuring no woman walks through hardship alone.
